Susquehanna River Recreation Lancaster and York County, PA

There is lots to do in Lancaster County that doesn't always make headlines.  Behind the Safe Harbor power dam is Lake Clark.  Over 1 mile wide and 10 miles long, it is the place to be for  boating, fishing, and "just having fun."

Morning on the Susquehanna River, Long Level, PA  The sun rises over Lancaster County and sets over York County.

Sailboat races, Wednesday Nights, all summer. Lightning Fleet 253 is based at the Susquehanna Yacht Club.

Small boat fun !  Beginner sailing instruction is available.
The fun continues after Labor Day.  On the river in November in Lancaster County can be beautiful.  It is also the time of year to catch your limit of small mouth bass, which are abundant.

Fun for everyone!

Fourth of July, Lake Clark Marina.
Property ownership is available both in Lancaster County as well as York County.  There are properties with just "river views" to properties located on the river.  For boating, 2 marinas are available for boat storage and summer mooring, as well as,  two private boating clubs.

Want to see the river for yourself?  Call me anytime, I'm always happy to show off one of nature's great treasures.
